Tuesday’s fourth in-season board is out. North Pocono did not move. Berwick is still looking in from outside the statewide 10.

PennLive’s Class 4A list, reprinted by the Scranton Times-Tribune, has North Pocono eighth again, now 4-0 after Valley View. They have sat eighth every week since the Berwick opener. Shamokin is still first. Pope John Paul II second. Bonner-Prendergast third. South Fayette climbed to fourth. Montour, West York, Jersey Shore, Cardinal O’Hara, and General McLane fill out the rest. Dallas is still on the teams-to-watch line at 4-0. Berwick is not in the 10 and not among the teams to watch after falling to 2-2 at Crispin.

Same neighborhood as last Tuesday. A Trojans program that opened with Berwick and kept winning keeps its seat. A Dawgs team that answered Pittston and Wyoming Area, then dropped Wilkes-Barre Area 22-12, still does not crack the statewide board — and that is fine for late September. Friday is Pottsville on the road, not a poll argument.

The Times-Tribune reprint carries the full board. Read it there. The lights at Veterans’ Memorial still come first.
