Gameday at Crispin. The Citizens’ Voice made it official overnight: Wilkes-Barre Area at Berwick is the Game of the Week.

Steve Bennett’s Gameface package has the Wolfpack at 0-3 and the Dawgs at 2-1, second straight Friday at home. Series is tied 2-2. Last meeting was Wilkes-Barre Area 34-21 in 2023. Kick is 7. Radio is Doyle and Ulicny on GOAT Rocks / WHLM. The television truck is still in Shamokin.

The numbers on the Berwick side are the ones that matter tonight. Brady Cleaver leads the rush with 374 yards and six touchdowns at 10.7 a carry. Gavin Galutia has 185. Landon Zapata has 127. As a team the Dawgs are at 7.2 yards per carry. Cleaver is also 23 of 39 for 335 and two scores through the air. Gabe Decker leads the catchers with 14 for 146 and a touchdown.

On the other side, Declan Gregor is 53 of 97 for 655 yards and five touchdowns. The Wolfpack average 2.3 yards per carry and have allowed 76 points. Wonder Woods leads them in catches. Deacon Eisenbach has seven for 173 and three scores. C.J. Curry told the Voice he does not care about the 0-3 line — the front can take over a game, and the backs will not give up the big play. The Voice’s pick is Berwick 35, Wilkes-Barre Area 21.

Same package puts Nico Lonczynski on the Week 4 players-to-watch list for the line work both ways. Jayden Peña is the Wilkes-Barre Area name on that board. The rest of the WVC capsules are posted separately. Read the Voice for the full write-up. Paywalled.
